Job summary

Fenris Creations is seeking a Senior Lighting Artist to shape the visual identity and atmosphere of Vanguard. You will craft high-quality lighting and real-time VFX that enhance environments, weapons, and combat spaces for a modern shooter.

You will collaborate across art, design, and engineering to ensure readability, performance, and visual impact on target hardware, mentoring colleagues and contributing to cross-discipline reviews.

Qualifications

• Senior-level experience as a Lighting Artist or similar role in game development.
• Strong hands-on experience with Unreal Engine 5.
• Good understanding of Lumen, real-time lighting, post-processing, reflections, shadows, fog, and exposure.
• Excellent artistic eye for mood, composition, colour, contrast, and player focus.

Responsibilities

• Create high-quality, production-ready lighting for FPS levels in Unreal Engine 5.
• Define lighting strategies to support navigation, focus, enemy visibility, and readability.
• Collaborate with art, design, TA, gameplay and rendering to ensure lighting is visually strong and optimized.
