Job summary

Lancaster University Library is seeking to appoint to the role of Senior Library Content Assistant. An opportunity has arisen for a forward-looking and proactive individual to join our Resource Provision team, coordinating projects and supporting access to our print and digital collections.

The successful candidate will respond to basic enquiries, act as the first point of contact for Library Content Assistants, and work closely with colleagues to ensure accurate, timely delivery of services

Qualifications

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to communicate confidently with colleagues, students and staff.
• Accurate with attention to detail and able to use initiative.

Responsibilities

• Respond to basic enquiries and perform initial troubleshooting.
• Serve as the first point of contact for Library Content Assistants.
• Assist with coordination of projects within the Resource Provision team.
• Support acquisition, delivery and access to print and digital collections via library systems.
