Job Overview

We are a market leading full-service global employment team, advising global corporations and financial institutions on high-value matters. Our work includes advisory, litigation, and corporate/transactional employment issues, including specialist areas like remuneration reform, senior managers regime, investigations, and governance.

Our team offers the opportunity to work on high-profile litigation, investigations, risk management, and complex transactions, including multi-jurisdictional projects. We also assist clients with employment aspects of ESG, D&I initiatives, and compliance in regulated sectors.

Who you will work with

You will join a team of 3 partners, 14 employment lawyers, 3 trainees, and a knowledge director in London, with access to an international network of over 80 employment lawyers. You will work with senior colleagues and manage work on a pan-European or global basis, collaborating with our Pensions and Share Schemes/Benefits teams.

What you will be responsible for / do

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Employment litigation, dispute resolution, and mediation
  • Employment contracts and policies
  • Senior executive appointments and severance
  • Outsourcing, discrimination, and equal opportunities
  • Employment legislation, downsizing, dismissals
  • Team moves, confidentiality, mergers, TUPE
  • Collective disputes, industrial action, works councils, trade unions
  • Remuneration codes, investigations

Qualifications

We seek an outstanding Senior Employment Lawyer with extensive post-qualification experience, ideally from a recognized employment practice, with exposure to transactional, advisory, and litigation work, including regulatory regimes. Must be qualified in England and Wales or equivalent, with excellent academics.
