TITLE: Senior Lettings Negotiator / Valuer

WHERE: East Grinstead

PACKAGE: Basic £24k-£30k plus commission. Realistic OTE £55,000

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 9am-5.30 or 6pm, with every other Saturday.

We are currently recruiting for a Senior Lettings Negotiator / Valuer for our estate agency client based in East Grinstead. Having been established for over 20 years, the company boasts hands-on directors and staff dedicated to making a difference. The ideal candidate must have previous lettings experience, including valuation skills. Responsibilities include landlord communication, client relationship management, property viewings (organising and conducting), negotiations, market knowledge, and administrative tasks.

You must hold a full UK driving licence and own your own car.

Responsibilities:

1. Dealing with landlord and tenant inquiries, answering calls and emails.
2. Preparing lettings particulars in conjunction with the Valuer, checking background details, and emailing relevant applicants.
3. Arranging and conducting property viewings.
4. Negotiating lets through to move-in.
5. Referencing potential tenants.
6. Preparing tenancy agreements and other legal notices.
7. Providing applicants and landlords with regular feedback.
8. Delivering high levels of customer service.
9. Researching and compiling valuations for new, current, and potential clients.
10. Carrying out market appraisals and winning new business.
