Job Description:

I am pleased to partner exclusively with one of the leading global alternative investment firms to recruit a senior lawyer into their Credit arm.

Their multi-investment strategies include private and public investment grade, high yield, infrastructure debt, sustainable resources, direct lending, CLOs, and opportunistic credit.

The ideal candidate will have at least 8/9 PQE from a leading UK or US law firm with expertise in sponsor-side leveraged finance. Experience in-house is highly desirable. The role suits a proactive, curious, and creative thinker with excellent communication skills.

Joining this top-tier transatlantic legal team, you will collaborate with investment and business groups on structuring, negotiating, and facilitating new investments, primarily in the UK, EU, and EMEA. You will also work with the capital formation team on asset-backed financing and liquidity facilities for their funds. Main responsibilities include:

• Handling corporate projects, including private/public transactions, operational matters, investor relations, and new business initiatives.
• Reviewing marketing materials and investor communications.
• Coordinating with the compliance team on transaction and fund-related compliance matters, including Adviser’s Act, Investment Company Act, AIFMD, UK and EU regulations, trade clearance, regulatory filings, and compliance system testing.
• Supporting various business groups such as investment, fund accounting, tax, marketing, and operations.
• Collaborating with the fund formation team on new flagship fund launches.
