Job Description:

I am pleased to partner exclusively with one of the leading global alternative investment firms to recruit a senior lawyer into their Credit arm.

Their multi-investment strategies include private and public investment grade, high yield, infrastructure debt, sustainable resources, direct lending, CLOs, and opportunistic credit.

The ideal applicant will have at least 8/9 PQE from a leading UK or US law firm and expertise in sponsor-side leveraged finance. Experience in-house is highly desirable. The candidate should be proactive, curious, and creative, with excellent communication skills.

Joining this top-tier transatlantic legal team, you will partner with investment and business groups to structure, negotiate, and facilitate new investments and asset management, mainly in the UK, EU, and EMEA. You will also work with the capital formation team on asset-backed financing and liquidity facilities for funds. Key responsibilities include:

• Handling corporate projects related to the firm, including transactions, operational matters, investor relations, and new initiatives.
• Reviewing marketing materials and investor communications.
• Coordinating with the compliance team on transaction and fund-related compliance, including Adviser’s Act, Investment Company Act, AIFMD, UK and EU regulations, trade clearance, and regulatory filings.
• Supporting various business groups such as investment, fund accounting, tax, marketing, and operations.
• Collaborating with the fund formation team on launching new flagship funds.
