Job Description:

I am pleased to partner exclusively with one of the leading global alternative investment firms to recruit a senior lawyer into their Credit arm.

Their multi-investment strategies include private and public investment grade, high yield, infrastructure debt, sustainable resources, direct lending, CLOs, and opportunistic credit.

The ideal candidate will have at least 8/9 PQE from a leading UK or US law firm and expertise in sponsor-side leveraged finance. Experience in-house is highly desirable. The candidate should be proactive, curious, and a creative thinker with excellent communication skills.

Joining this top-tier transatlantic legal team, you will collaborate with investment and business groups on structuring, negotiating, and facilitating new investments and asset management, mainly in the UK, EU, and EMEA. You will also work with the capital formation team on asset-backed financing and liquidity facilities for their funds. Key responsibilities include:

• Handling corporate projects related to the firm, including transactions, operational matters, investor relations, and new initiatives.
• Reviewing marketing materials and investor communications.
• Coordinating with the compliance team on transaction and fund-related compliance issues, including regulatory filings and designing compliance systems.
• Supporting various business groups like investment, fund accounting, tax, marketing, and operations.
• Collaborating with the fund formation team on launching new flagship funds.
