Primark is seeking a Senior Legal Counsel to provide strategic legal advice across retail, digital, technology and operations, supporting growth initiatives globally.

You will lead commercial contract negotiations, draft and conclude agreements, and partner with Finance, People & Culture, IT and Supply Chain to drive practical outcomes. The role requires hands-on leadership in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifikationen

• Qualified lawyer with 7-10+ years' post-qualification experience gained in a leading law firm and/or in-house legal environment.
• Strong commercial contract drafting, negotiation and risk assessment skills.
• Proven experience advising business leaders on legal risk, balancing commercial objectives with risk management.
• Demonstrated success supporting complex operational change and transformation projects.
• Ability to build trusted partnerships and influence stakeholders at all levels.
• Experience navigating international environments; exposure to retail or fashion sectors is advantageous.

• Drive Legal Excellence: Contribute to the development of a high-performing legal function by promoting collaboration, embedding efficiencies and continuously improving processes and ways of working.
• Manage Risk and External Counsel: Monitor legal and regulatory developments, manage external legal partners where required, and translate complex legal advice into clear, actionable guidance for the business.
