Job summary

Primark seeks a Senior Ethical Trade Executive for Global Ethical Assurance Audit to drive social compliance and governance across a global programme. You will collaborate with ETES, regional teams and Legal to ensure audits meet regulatory and best‑practice standards, with a focus on data‑driven improvements and stakeholder engagement.

You will help implement policies, strengthen accountability, and develop KPIs, while coordinating regional audit activities and driving continuous improvement

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in an ESG (Social) analytics or social compliance role.
• Proven ability to manage social compliance processes, develop process flows, procedures and KPIs, and translate data into clear, actionable insights.
• Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to work with peers and senior stakeholders across functions.
• High proficiency in MS Office, with experience designing and presenting clear, business‑focused reports.
• Demonstrated analytical, research and problem‑solving capabilities with attention to detail under pressure.
• Collaborative, personable and proactive team player with strong relationship skills.

Responsibilities

• Own day-to-day analysis, recording, and reporting to ensure compliance with Primark’s Global Social Audit Assurance Programme, cross‑functional collaboration with ETES, Central Support, regional teams, CR Hub, Legal and People & Culture.
• Support the implementation of company policies, standards, and reporting requirements for social audits under guidance of Head of Global Audit Assurance (GAA).
• Define and strengthen governance, accountability, and oversight frameworks for monitoring the global social audit programme.
• Identify audit training and awareness needs, coordinating regional delivery with regional leads and Head of GAA.
• Develop KPIs and performance metrics to support programme management, partnering with Central Support and Technology & Systems teams.
• Lead programme monitoring activities, including quarterly reviews, risk assessments, due diligence checks, escalation of risks or issues.

In your role,you’llcollaborate with different people across a range of skillsets.Here’sa flavour of your day-to-day:
