Job summary

Kraft Heinz UK & Ireland, within the Europe & Pacific Developed Markets Regional Legal Team, seeks an experienced qualified lawyer to provide commercial and pragmatic legal advice to protect and grow the business.

You will cover general commercial contracts, IP/brand law, competition, data protection, consumer and regulatory matters, and support corporate housekeeping, travel across domestically and internationally as needed.

Qualifications

• UK qualified with at least 8 years' post-qualification experience in commercial law.
• Experience in IP, consumer law, competition law, and ASA disputes desirable.
• Excellent legal education with top academic credentials.
• FMCG experience desirable.
• Strong communication and business acumen.

Job description

We have an excellent opportunity for an experienced qualified lawyer to make a real difference at Kraft Heinz. The purpose of the role is to provide commercial and pragmatic legal advice to help protect and grow the Kraft Heinz UK and Ireland business. The role also sits within the wider Europe & Pacific Developed Markets (EPDM) Regional Legal Team and from time to time may also support on EPDM Regional projects.

Skills

Qualifications

• UK qualified with a minimum of 8+ years’ post qualification experience as a commercial lawyer (IP, Consumer law, Competition law & ASA disputes experience desirable);
• Excellent legal education with top academic credentials and training in a leading law firm and/ or company;
• FMCG experience is desirable;
• Excellent legal judgment with the capacity to make decisions and give advice that reflects an understanding of overall business objectives and the risks/rewards of each situation;
• Strong business acumen;
• Strong research and drafting skills and a demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with a non-legal audience, both orally and in writing;
• High curiosity with strong learning agility;
• Self-starter with the ability to work independently and a sense of urgency in a fast-paced environment that requires management of multiple projects simultaneously whilst also being a team player;
• Ability to build relationships, work collaboratively in a team, manage stakeholders and influence across all levels within the organisation;
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally on an as-needed basis.
