Job summary

Battersea Dogs & Cats Home is recruiting a Senior Legacy & In Memory Direct Marketing Officer to shape and grow a major income stream by managing the Legacy & In Memory Fundraising marketing and acquisition programme.

The successful candidate will deliver and oversee multi-channel direct and wider marketing campaigns to recruit and attract new Legacy and In Memory donors, while briefing internal teams and suppliers, analysing results, and applying best practice in fundraising standards.

Qualifications

• Proven experience planning, implementing and evaluating DM campaigns across media.
• Experience with DM acquisition across channels.
• Experience briefing and evaluating campaigns; analyzing results.
• Experience working with internal teams and external suppliers; negotiating costs.
• Ability to manage high workload and multiple priorities.
• Knowledge of fundraising standards by CIoF or similar bodies.
• Experience with data segmentation and writing briefs.
• Budgeting experience in fundraising contexts.
• Experience using digital communications to improve donor acquisition.
• Strong written English and numeracy; proficient with MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and oversee multi-channel direct and wider marketing campaigns and projects to recruit Legacy and In Memory donors.
• Oversee acquisition programmes for Legacy and In Memory fundraising.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external suppliers; negotiate costs and timelines.
