Overview

First Military Recruitment is proudly working in partnership with a fantastic Events Management business that is looking to recruit a Senior LED/Video Technician on a permanent basis due to growth.

The company mainly provides services to corporate events, which generally take place on weekdays, although some weekend work may be required. There is a high degree of flexibility regarding working hours, and it is understood that this is not a 9-5 job.

This is a great opportunity to utilize and develop your video and LED experience, especially after recent investment in an advanced LED framework system. You will be involved in producing world-class events and maintaining the LED and video equipment to the highest standards.

Responsibilities:

• Review jobs with colleagues to ensure equipment specifications meet requirements.
• Set up, prepare, and test equipment on premises before on-site deployment.
• Assist with planning and coordinating the rig and de-rig of LED setups, advising on best methods, power, pixel counts, and weight loads.
• Work with warehouse colleagues to service and maintain LED equipment, ensuring it is ready for shows.
• Collaborate with Technical Managers to develop LED training programs and resources for sales and technical teams.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Specific experience with LED equipment, including installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of video walls.
• Technical skills in sound for live events, with a good understanding of lighting.
• Proven experience in technical roles within the live events industry, either as an employee or freelancer.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Strong teamwork abilities, capable of working with diverse professionals.
• Proactive attitude with a desire for operational improvement.
• Proficiency in end-user IT skills.
• Experience supporting virtual events is a plus.
