You will hold NMC registration, an honours degree, and teaching qualifications, with demonstrable higher education teaching experience in

Qualifications

• NMC Registration in Nursing is essential.
• Honours degree with professional qualification.
• Practice Assessor Training.
• Teaching qualification or willingness to acquire one.
• PhD or Master’s degree advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Leading the curation, adaptation, design and development of course teaching materials.
• Teaching on HE modules and courses at levels 4–7 in nursing.
• Supporting the design, implementation, ratification and QA of student assessments.
• Upholding high standards of academic integrity in teaching, learning and assessment.
• Preparing and disseminating formative and summative feedback to students.
• Supporting delivery of simulated practice learning activities.
• Undertaking the role of Academic Assessor.
• Supporting course recruitment activities such as interviews and open days.
• Developing best practice in teaching, learning and assessment across CUHC.

Education

NMC Registration in Nursing

Honours Degree in relevant subject

Practice Assessor Training

Teaching qualification or willing to acquire one

PhD or Master’s degree advantageous
