Job summary

Coventry University Group is seeking an Assistant Lecturer (Teaching) in Clinical Nursing Skills. Based onsite at Coventry University, you will teach and assess across undergraduate and postgraduate courses, aligning learning with research and professional practice contexts.

You will collaborate with academic colleagues to enrich the student learning journey, delivering high-quality teaching and ensuring a robust quality assurance framework across modules and clinical skills simulations.

Qualifications

• NMC registration in Nursing (current and active).
• Honours Degree in an appropriate subject with professional qualification.
• Practice Assessor Training.
• A teaching qualification or willingness to acquire one if not held.

Responsibilities

• Lead the curation, adaptation, design and development of course teaching materials.
• Teach on modules and courses at HE levels 4–7 in Nursing.
• Support design, implementation and QA of student assessment.
• Uphold high standards of academic integrity in teaching, learning and assessment.
• Prepare and disseminate formative and summative student feedback.
• Support delivery of simulated practice learning activities.
• Undertake Academic Assessor role and support recruitment activities.
• Demonstrate best practice in teaching, learning and assessment.
