Job summary

Oasis Academy Watermead in Sheffield is seeking a Senior Learning Mentor to support pupils and families, manage nurture and breakfast clubs, and assist with behaviour policy implementation. The role involves coordinating records and liaising with staff, parents, and external agencies to remove barriers to learning.

You will conduct regular 1:1 sessions and group work, including anger management and self-esteem activities, while maintaining data and supporting reintegration and attendance

Qualifications

• GCSEs including English and maths.
• Willingness to develop within an education setting with relevant qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Manage nurture groups and breakfast clubs.
• Support implementation of the academy’s behaviour policy and record-keeping.
• Maintain records and exchange information during pupil transfers.
• Provide 1:1 counselling and groups focusing on anger management and self-esteem.
