Job summary

Polypipe Building Services, part of the Genuit Group, is seeking a Senior Lean Practitioner in Aylesford to drive continuous improvement across manufacturing, warehousing and support functions. You will lead Kaizen events, embed the Genuit Business System (GBS) and coach teams to sustain improvements.

The role emphasizes hands-on problem solving, data-driven decision making and strong stakeholder engagement within a dynamic manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience delivering Lean or continuous improvement projects.
• Strong knowledge of Lean principles, tools and problem-solving methodologies; Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or higher.
• Experience facilitating Kaizen events and managing stakeholders.
• Experience mentoring, coaching or developing others; desire to support learning.
• Excellent communication, facilitation and influencing skills.
• Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret data and identify opportunities.
• Experience delivering training in Lean tools and methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Support identification and delivery of continuous improvement initiatives across manufacturing, warehousing and support functions, focusing on waste reduction and process efficiency.
• Plan, facilitate, and lead Kaizen workshops and improvement events.
• Support structured problem-solving activities, including root cause analysis.
• Assist with rollout and embedding of the Genuit Business System (GBS) across the site.
• Monitor, measure and report on CI activities; ensure benefits are captured and sustained.
• Provide coaching on lean principles to build capability across the workforce.
• Promote a culture of continuous improvement by engaging staff at all levels.
