Job summary

Barking & Dagenham Council is recruiting a Head of School Performance & Partnerships to lead strategic collaboration with schools across the borough and to drive performance improvements in Local Authority maintained schools.

The post holder will work with headteachers, governors and partners to address vulnerabilities, promote strong relationships, and develop opportunities that improve outcomes for children and young people in Dagenham and greater London.

Qualifications

• UK teaching qualification and successful senior leadership experience in the state maintained sector.
• Knowledge and experience of the English national curriculum requirements.

Responsibilities

• Act as main senior contact for Local Authority maintained schools.
• Provide support to address vulnerabilities and professional challenge.
• Promote relationships and connections across schools within and beyond the borough.
• Lead on school performance and partnerships initiatives.
