Job summary

Ormiston Sandwell Community Academy is seeking an exceptional Senior Leader for Safeguarding & DSL to shape safeguarding strategy, lead a committed inclusion team and influence whole-school improvement. You will champion vulnerable learners and ensure outstanding safeguarding outcomes across the academy.

You will work with senior colleagues to develop systems that promote safety, wellbeing and high standards of safeguarding across the Trust and community.

Qualifications

• Lead the safeguarding strategy and culture within the academy.
• Act as the Senior Designated Safeguarding Lead with the highest safeguarding standards.
• Provide inspirational leadership to the safeguarding and inclusion team.
• Drive the academy's inclusion agenda to support vulnerable learners.

Responsibilities

• Shape strategic decisions at the Senior Leadership Team level.
• Influence whole-school improvement through safeguarding and inclusion initiatives.
• Collaborate with senior colleagues to ensure safeguarding is embedded in everyday practice.
• Develop systems and processes to secure outstanding outcomes for all students.
