Job summary

Ormiston Sandwell Community Academy is seeking a Senior Leader for Safeguarding & DSL to join its Senior Leadership Team and shape safeguarding culture across the academy.

You will lead the safeguarding and inclusion team, champion vulnerable learners and ensure outstanding outcomes for every child, while developing systems and strategies with senior colleagues.

As Senior Leader for Safeguarding & DSL, you will lead a highly committed safeguarding and inclusion team, driving a culture where students feel safe, valued and empowered to succeed. You will champion vulnerable learners, work alongside senior colleagues across the academy, and develop systems that ensure outstanding outcomes for all students.

About the role

As a member of the Senior Leadership Team, you will:

• Lead and develop the academy's safeguarding strategy and culture.
• Act as the Senior Designated Safeguarding Lead, ensuring the highest standards of safeguarding practice.
• Provide inspirational leadership to the safeguarding and inclusion team.
• Drive the academy's inclusion agenda, ensuring vulnerable students receive exceptional support.
