Job summary

J.P. Morgan in the United Kingdom seeks a Senior Lead Solution Architect to design, assess, and deliver scalable architectures across functional, information, and technical layers.

You will drive data modeling, governance, and AI-enhanced practices for enterprise platforms within Securities Services Engineering & Architecture. You will collaborate with stakeholders to articulate requirements, lead architecture governance, and evangelize best practices while ensuring security and auditability

Qualifications

• Formal training or certification in software engineering or architecture concepts.
• Hands-on Solution Architecture experience across functional, information and technical dimensions with data modeling knowledge.
• Knowledge of data architecture options (ODS, Data Lake, Data Catalog, DW, OLTP/OLAP).
• Proficiency in AI/machine learning as applied to architecture or software engineering.
• Experience with Java, Python, or C++ and data formats like XML/JSON; SQL/NoSQL DBs.
• Strong understanding of Financial Services domain and lean/agile methods.

Responsibilities

• Engage with stakeholders to articulate requirements and realize secure, robust solutions.
• Design and assess end-to-end architectures for enterprise platforms, including data modeling and data migration.
• Apply AI tools to improve architecture practices and documentation.
• Ensure conformance with firm-wide patterns and architecture governance.
• Lead evaluation sessions with vendors and partners on architectural designs and credentials.
• Promote reuse of AI-enabled engineering patterns and governance across SDLC.
