Job summary

J.P. Morgan is seeking a Senior Lead Software Engineer (Equities Algo Trading) to spearhead the design, development and support of a market-leading algo execution platform for global equity markets.

You will collaborate with quants, traders and technologists to deliver scalable, secure and high-performance software solutions that power trading decisions. You will contribute across engine infrastructure, quantitative models, trading signals, and trade analysis, while aligning with business

Qualifications

Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts.
Proficiency in Java for low-latency, real-time systems.
Experience with algorithmic trading and market data.

Responsibilities

Design and develop algo trading strategies and execution platform.
Design and develop simulation environment and maintain automated testing of strategies and responses to staged market conditions.
Enhance existing strategies by reviewing analytics and evolving models/signals.
Support the desk by deep-diving into specific cases to interpret strategy behavior and address issues.
Develop scalable real-time processing solutions using agile methodologies.
Identify opportunities to automate remediation of recurring issues to improve stability.
