Job summary

JPMorganChase is seeking a Lead Software Engineer for the Equity Derivatives Technology group. You will work with internal and external clients to develop secure, scalable solutions within an agile team, focusing on derivatives processing and securitized products.

You will influence architectural designs, lead technical reviews, and contribute to a culture of diversity, inclusion, and continuous learning while collaborating with Sales, Trading, and Operations.

Qualifications

• Experience with Java enterprise-grade applications.
• Ability to understand new technologies and troubleshoot complex problems.
• Hands-on experience in system design, app development, testing, and operational stability.
• Proficiency in multiple programming languages and automation.
• Knowledge of CI/CD, agile practices, resilience, and security.

Responsibilities

• Execute innovative software solutions, design, develop, and troubleshoot complex problems.
• Deliver secure, high-quality production code and conduct code reviews.
• Identify and automate remediation of recurring issues to improve stability.
• Lead evaluation sessions with vendors, startups, and internal teams on architectures and tech credentials.
• Foster communities of practice to drive awareness and adoption of new technologies.
