Job summary

You will mentor engineers, drive architecture decisions, implement CI/CD and security best practices, and deliver production-grade code across Java or Spark, SQL, and data platforms.

Qualifications

• Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts.
• Hands-on experience in system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
• Knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle.
• Understanding of agile methodologies such as CI/CD, Application Resiliency, and Security.

Responsibilities

• Execute software solutions, design, development, and troubleshooting to build innovative solutions.
• Define and lead technology and process implementations across groups to achieve firmwide objectives.
• Create secure, high‑quality production code and maintain algorithms that run synchronously with systems.
• Produce architecture and design artifacts for complex applications, ensuring design constraints are met.
• Gather, analyze, synthesize, and develop visualisations and reporting from large, diverse data sets.
• Identify hidden problems and patterns in data to drive improvements in coding hygiene and system architecture.
• Contribute to software engineering communities of practice and events exploring new and emerging technologies.
• Add to a team culture of diversity, equity, inclusion, and respect.
• Provide leadership and high‑level direction to multiple feature teams both regionally and globally.
