About the firm
Cathedral Appointments is delighted to partner with an ambitious and collaborative national law firm whose lawyers focus on establishing trusted and expert business advisory relationships with their clients. Their Conveyancing Services team has gone from strength to strength and are now seeking an ambitious and capable Senior Lawyer to join their successful, high value residential offering.
About the role
Working directly with the Head of Conveyancing Services and other members of the wider team, you will focus on delivering profitable and innovative solutions to clients. You will already be experienced working at a senior level within Residential Conveyancing (probably a Senior or Managing Associate) with an established client following. You’re accustomed to leading on matters directly whilst supervising junior members (who may be based elsewhere), sharing work across the region in collaboration with the wider team. Your focus will be to deliver exceptional client service, working with colleagues to strengthen the skills needed at each level to ensure our clients receive all the support they need, when they need it.
As part of the growth strategy for the wider Real Estate team, you will also be actively involved in recruiting and retaining your team, supporting their development, and ensuring they enhance their technical skills over time.
You will have significant experience in advising clients on all aspects of residential conveyancing, including freehold and leasehold properties, estates, and site developments. In addition to focusing on high-net-worth individuals while working closely with the private wealth team. Practised in developing strong and effective relationships, you will offer commercially relevant and practical advice from the outset.
About You
Being an ambitious and capable Senior Lawyer/ Managing Associate, you will have extensive recent experience working at a senior level within Residential Conveyancing Services. Personally self-motivated and equally able to motivate others, you have the enthusiasm and commitment to share knowledge and build capacity across the wider team.
In your current work, you will be a strong business developer, able to engage with new clients whilst expanding existing relationships as a trusted business advisor. You do this by readily understanding the commercial context of your clients and appreciate the importance of supporting them with relevant advice at the right moment.
You will possess a reputable profile in your region and are positive and active in engaging with a variety of business development opportunities within the region's network.
As a leader within the Residential Conveyancing market, you will possess strong communication and rapport building skills, with the resilience to work under pressure by organising yourself effectively to meet deadlines as needed. Being tenacious, thorough, and attentive to detail whilst appreciating the 'bigger picture' for your clients, taking pride in the high standards of your work.
