Zego is expanding its Complex Claims team and seeks a highly skilled Large Loss Claims Handler to manage a portfolio of motor claims, focusing on cases above £500k. You’ll work with the Motor Major Loss Manager and other stakeholders to drive down costs while ensuring fair compensation.

You'll also introduce a quality review programme, mentor junior staff, and contribute to strategic projects that keep the team at the cutting edge of large-loss practice, within a hybrid London setup.

Qualifications

• Experience handling high-value motor bodily injury claims.
• Knowledge of CPR, MIB, and complex medical issues.
• Experience with litigation procedures and CPR framework.

Responsabilités

• Manage a portfolio of high value motor claims (£500k to £5m).
• Communicate with customers, witnesses, insurers, solicitors, and medical agencies to expedite claim resolutions.
• Serve as technical expert on large loss scenarios.
• Work with the Motor Major Loss Manager and Head of TP & Complex Claims on claims strategy and processes.
• Mentor and develop more junior team members.
• Maintain reinsurer and carrier relationships.
• Investigate, negotiate and settle claims.
• Calculate reserves and make decisions on indemnity and liability claims.
• Participate in strategic projects to keep the team at the forefront of industry trends.
