Job summary

Flint Bishop in Birmingham, UK, is seeking a senior Insurance Litigation Lawyer to manage a substantial caseload of complex defendant catastrophic (large loss) matters. You will mentor junior fee-earners, influence team strategy, and lead business development efforts for the insurance litigation group.

The role reports to the Head of Insurance Litigation and requires 4–6 years of large loss experience, with strong client care and IT skills.

Qualifications

• 4–6 years of experience in large loss work within insurance litigation.
• Excellent client care and communication skills.
• Proficient IT skills including the Microsoft suite.

Responsibilities

• Manage a varied caseload of complex defendant catastrophic (large loss) matters.
• Provide supervision of junior fee-earners and sign off work where required.
• Attend meetings with Head of Insurance Litigation and CEO on priorities and performance.
• Lead in client relationship management and business development initiatives.
• Allocate fee-earning matters effectively and monitor team capacity.
• Share technical expertise and keep knowledge up-to-date for the team.
