Job summary

Pen Test Partners is seeking a highly skilled Senior Full-Stack Developer to join our in-house Laravel team. You will own features end-to-end, design and architect new functionality, and help shape our AI-assisted development workflow using Cursor.

You will work across Laravel applications, implement secure coding practices, and review peers to ensure quality. The role is hybrid, with a monthly day at the office near Buckingham.

Qualifications

• Senior-level PHP and Laravel development with responsibility for end-to-end features.
• Full-stack skills: Blade, Bootstrap, jQuery, and Webpack; semantic HTML & responsive CSS.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of features end-to-end across multiple Laravel apps—from spec to design, build, test and deployment.
• Design and architect new functionality, justify decisions in code reviews.
• Deliver to agreed timelines and flag risks early.
• Refactor existing code and address legacy areas with risk/value mindset.
• Diagnose and fix complex bugs across the stack.
• Write and maintain robust tests (PHPUnit, Dusk).
• Participate in peer code reviews and improve AI-driven workflows.
