Job summary

SSA Digital Recruitment is seeking a Senior PHP Developer to join a global SaaS team in a hybrid role based in the UK. The position focuses on backend PHP and Laravel development, with opportunities to contribute to Vue.js and TypeScript frontend work.

You will design, build and scale secure SaaS applications, develop RESTful APIs, optimise MySQL databases and work closely with Product Owners and other engineers to deliver high-quality software.

Qualifications

• Proven commercial PHP/Laravel development experience.
• Strong REST API, MySQL and data modelling skills.
• Experience with Vue.js/TypeScript for full-stack work.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and improve scalable SaaS applications using PHP and Laravel.
• Develop RESTful APIs and integrate third-party services.
• Collaborate with Product, Design and Engineering to ship features end-to-end.
• Write clean, well-tested code and participate in code reviews.
