Job summary

Lead Careers Ltd is looking for a Landscape Architect to join an independent consultancy in Cheshire on a hybrid basis. You will manage projects from concept to delivery, produce landscape designs and technical drawings, and coordinate with ecology and engineering colleagues.

The ideal candidate has a degree in landscape architecture, is Chartered or near Chartership, and can lead multiple projects with minimal supervision.

Qualifications

• A degree in landscape architecture
• Chartered or close to Chartership
• Experience of landscape and ecological designations
• Experience preparing or reviewing design-based landscape assessments
• Good report writing skills
• Confidence dealing directly with clients and consultants
• Strong skills across relevant landscape design and drawing software
• The ability to manage several projects and deadlines independently
• Experience to lead projects and provide some support to more junior members of the team

Responsibilities

• Working on projects from concept and planning through to detailed design and delivery
• Producing landscape designs, drawings and technical information
• Preparing reports, appraisals and information for planning applications
• Managing individual projects and workloads
• Liaising directly with clients and other consultants
• Working alongside ecology and engineering colleagues
• Supporting junior members of the team where appropriate
