SSEN Transmission is seeking experienced Senior Land Managers to secure rights for Scotland’s major infrastructure projects. You will lead land strategy, negotiations, and stakeholder engagement to enable delivery of the electricity network.

You will coordinate land references and data, liaising with landowners, authorities and project teams to achieve practical outcomes while ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and regulations.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of Scottish landownership and complex land and property matters.
• In-depth knowledge of land and property rights including wayleaves and servitudes.
• Good working knowledge of relevant legislation (Electricity Act 1989, Land Compensation Act 1973, Compulsory Purchase Act 1965).
• Experience in energy networks, infrastructure, or regulated environments with land requirements.

Responsabilités

• Lead land and property activity for major infrastructure projects to secure rights for delivery.
• Develop and deliver land assembly strategies using negotiations and statutory powers.
• Lead engagement and negotiations with landowners and their representatives for fair outcomes.
• Coordinate land referencing and property data to support statutory applications and project needs.
• Build relationships with internal and external stakeholders including authorities and landowners.
