Senior L8 Remedials Engineer (Mobile)

We are seeking a Senior L8 Remedials Engineer to join our expanding team and play a key role in helping ISS become the world's leading service organisation.

Job Description

In this position, you will deliver a variety of planned maintenance and servicing tasks across commercial and domestic water systems, ensuring full compliance with L8 ACOP legislation.

You will work on systems of varying complexity, applying your expertise to maintain industry standards while supporting the safety and well-being of our clients.

Key Responsibilities

1. Carry out monitoring, remedial cleaning, chemical testing, and minor plumbing/mechanical tasks to support Legionella control programmes.
2. Implement water management controls in line with L8 and HSG274 regulations.
3. Perform planned preventative maintenance (PPMs) and reactive maintenance across client sites.
4. Follow weekly/monthly PPM schedules and adhere to route planning.
5. Work across various site types, including offices and laboratories.
6. Ensure compliance with clients' water safety and control requirements.
7. Maintain accurate records of inspections, tests, and maintenance activities.

Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications

1. Technical background in plumbing or related field is advantageous.
2. Experience in Compliance Servicing, Legionella Monitoring, or Water Treatment is desirable.
3. Understanding of water systems and treatment processes.
4. Basic IT skills, preferably with Microsoft Office.
5. Strong organisational and time management skills.
6. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
7. Excellent customer service skills and a collaborative approach.
