Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 5 years in security engineering, DevSecOps or platform roles.
• Scripting in Python, Go or Bash.
• Experience with Kubernetes security and RBAC, network policies and observability tools (Falco, Prometheus, Grafana).
• Experience with Terraform, Helm and ArgoCD.
• DV UK security clearance or ability to obtain.
• British citizen for compliance.

Responsibilities

• Deploy, configure and manage cloud security platforms including SIEM, IDS/IPS and CWPP.
• Develop security monitoring and logging strategies.
• Investigate security incidents, identify root causes and containment steps.
• Perform forensic analysis of suspicious activity.
• Automate security tasks and workflows to improve efficiency.
• Deliver, operate and secure private cloud services in UK SecOps.
• Design and manage cloud-native security platforms with Kubernetes.
• Develop tooling to automate controls and enable detection/response.
• Collaborate with Incident Response and platform teams to integrate security in workflows.
• Participate in rotating on-call outside hours/weekends.
