Job summary

Bloomberg is seeking an experienced software engineer in London to design and implement Kubernetes operators and custom controllers for a large, multi-tenant platform. You will contribute production-grade Go and Python that talks to the Kubernetes API and own features end-to-end from design to rollout.

Qualifications

• Strong programming in Go and/or Python.
• Experience with Kubernetes internals: operators, controllers, CRDs, admission webhooks.
• Understanding distributed systems: consistency, reconciliation, failure handling.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement Kubernetes operators and custom controllers for a large multi-tenant platform.
• Write production Go and Python code interfacing with the Kubernetes API using client-go and controller-runtime.
• Own features end-to-end from CRD design through rollout.
