Job summary

SER-IN is seeking a Senior Key Account Manager to own a portfolio of major Water Hygiene and Legionella compliance clients across South Wales and Bristol. This client-facing role emphasises building long-term relationships and delivering industry-leading service.

You will manage contracts, identify growth opportunities, and coordinate with operations to ensure excellent service delivery while leading negotiations with facilities managers.

Responsibilities

• Prepare quotations, proposals and contract renewals.
• Ensure KPIs and SLAs are met.

Senior Key Account Manager

Location: South Wales & Bristol

Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 plus car allowance, mileage, commission, phone, laptop, death in service, healthcare, pension and 25 days holiday excluding bank holidays

Are you an experienced Water Hygiene Account Manager looking to take ownership of a portfolio of major clients?

We're representing an established and highly respected compliance business that provides Water Hygiene, Water Treatment and Legionella Control services across the UK. Due to continued growth, they are looking to appoint a Senior Key Account Manager to manage and develop a portfolio of prestigious customers throughout South Wales and Bristol.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys building long-term client relationships, identifying growth opportunities and ensuring exceptional service delivery.

The Role

As a Senior Key Account Manager, you'll become the trusted advisor for a portfolio of key customers, ensuring they receive industry-leading service while identifying opportunities to expand the company's offering.

You will work closely with operational teams to ensure contracts are delivered efficiently, maintain strong customer relationships and play a key role in driving business growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and develop an existing portfolio of key Water Hygiene and Legionella compliance clients.
• Build strong relationships with Facilities Managers, Estates Teams, Compliance Managers and other key decision-makers.
• Identify opportunities to upsell and cross-sell Water Hygiene, Water Treatment and related compliance services.
• Conduct regular client review meetings and site visits.
• Prepare quotations, proposals and contract renewals.
• Ensure customer KPIs and service level agreements are achieved.
• Liaise with operational teams to ensure excellent service delivery.
• Support business development initiatives across the region.

What We're Looking For

• Previous experience within the Water Hygiene.
• Proven experience managing key accounts or business development within the sector.
• Strong commercial awareness and negotiation skills.
• Excellent relationship-building and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple customers and priorities.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
• Comfortable travelling throughout South Wales and Bristol.
