Data Intellect in London is seeking a Senior kdb+ Engineer to lead high-performance, data-intensive projects for top financial institutions. You will architect scalable kdb+ solutions, mentor juniors, and own the full development lifecycle from design to support.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on kdb+ development, with deep expertise in q and time-series data.
• Proven experience designing and implementing kdb+ architectures and scaling kdb+ systems in production.
• Strong background in Unix/Linux environments and scripting.
• Demonstrated technical leadership and decision-making in fast-paced projects.
• Excellent communication skills to explain complex systems to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience in capital markets or investment banking, understanding of the domain and its demands.
• A passion for clean, performant code and continuous improvement.

Job Description

As a Senior kdb+ Engineer at [DI] you’ll be at the forefront of delivering high-performance, scalable solutions for some of the world’s most data-intensive financial institutions. You’ll:
