Job summary

KBR, Inc. is seeking a Principal Jetty/Coastal Engineer to support lead engineers in delivering marine facility designs, including dredging, mooring, and shore protection aspects, across global offices.

You will contribute to surveys, studies, and design bases as part of a multidisciplinary team. The role requires liaising with clients and 3rd party contractors to ensure timely, budget-conforming delivery, with a focus on quality and safety.

Qualifications

• Degree in Structural Engineering or Naval Architecture is required.
• Experience in conceptual, FEED and detailed engineering of jetty/coastal structures.
• In-depth knowledge of latest revisions of applicable design codes is essential.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
• Ability to work both independently and in a multi-disciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Support the lead engineer in preparing engineering deliverables.
• Coordinate with clients and 3rd party contractors and project teams across global offices.
• Deliver tasks within allotted timelines and budgets.
• Liaise with stakeholders across stages from concept to detailed design.
