Job summary

KBR, Inc. is seeking a Principal Coastal/Marine Engineer in Leatherhead, UK to contribute to marine infrastructure projects.

You will lead survey planning, data interpretation, and engineering studies supporting coastal facilities, jetty design, and optimization, working within multi-disciplinary teams and industry standards. The role requires a Civil/Coastal/Marine/Ocean/Geotechnical Engineering degree, and hands-on experience with jetty/coastal structures and current design codes.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering, Coastal Engineering, Marine Engineering, Ocean Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Experience in Conceptual, FEED and detailed engineering of jetty / coastal structure.
• In-depth knowledge of latest revisions of applicable design codes.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, execute, and review marine, coastal, and land-based survey and site investigation programs.
• Evaluate datasets, survey records, and reports; translate data into engineering design parameters.
• Support engineering studies, simulations, and development of coastal infrastructure projects.
