Job summary

Thomson Keene's client, a Global Investment bank, is delivering a new centrally automated platform for its Prime technology division. You will join a globally distributed team and contribute to building scalable, event-driven services using Java, Spring and Apache tooling.

The stack includes Java, Spring, Flink, Kafka, Ignite and Angular. The role requires proven financial markets experience and an engineering mindset.

Qualifications

• Experience building platforms for financial markets.
• Strong Java/Spring development experience.
• Hands-on with Apache Flink, Kafka, Ignite and Angular.

Responsibilities

• Build a centrally automated platform as part of the Prime technology program.

Job description

Our client is a Global Investment bank who are undertaking a new programme of work for their Prime technology business. A globally distributed team, you will be responsible for the build of a centrally automated platform.

The tech stack is: Java, Spring, Apache toolkit (Flink, Kafka, Ignite) and Angular. Candidates must have proven and demonstrable experience working in Financial Markets with an Engineering mindset.

This is a hybrid assignment, candidates MUST be able to commute to the London office on a weekly basis and will be working via Umbrella company.
