Job summary

Huxley Associates in London is seeking a skilled Full Stack Developer to join a trading applications team. You will contribute to the development and implementation of software used across trading desks.

The role requires Java/Spring Boot, microservices, Angular/Typescript/JavaScript (React welcome), Kafka, MQ and FIX Protocol, with experience in Investment Banking or Investment Management. Contract is 12 months rolling.

Qualifications

• Experience with Java/Spring Boot microservices in enterprise environments.
• UI proficiency in Angular/Typescript/JavaScript (React acceptable).
• Experience with Kafka, MQ and FIX Protocol.
• Investment Banking or Investment Management experience.
• Familiar with AI-driven development tools such as Claude Code, GitHub Code, Windsurf.

• Investment Banking or Investment Management experience.

Contract: 12 Months Rolling

Location: London - 4 days per week in the office.
