Job summary

ITRS Group is seeking a Senior Java Software Engineer in London to join the Platform Team. You will work on a core platform of distributed services that ingest and transform observability data for visualisation, analytics and integrations.

This is a permanent, full-time role with a hybrid working model from our London office. You will contribute across the product lifecycle, mentor colleagues, and drive high-quality solutions with a strong focus on performance and reliability.

Qualifications

• Predominantly a backend Java developer with 7+ years of experience building complex distributed systems.
• Experience designing and delivering high-scale, data-intensive services.
• Strong understanding of observability, performance tuning and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Participate in all phases of the product lifecycle: design, development, documentation, testing, deployment and support.
• Mentor teammates and foster growth within the team.
• Develop innovative, customer-centric solutions and champion quality and testing practices.
