Citi in the United Kingdom is seeking a Lead Java Developer to drive design and delivery of enterprise-scale software in a cross-functional team. You will lead applications development, mentor engineers, and implement robust microservices using Java/J2EE, Spring Boot, and RESTful services.

You will champion CI/CD practices, contribute to architecture decisions, and ensure code quality with Sonar and modern testing strategies across data-driven financial platforms.

Competenze

• Significant hands-on software engineering experience in enterprise-scale environments.
• Strong knowledge of Java/J2EE, Spring Boot, and RESTful web services (XML, JSON).
• Proven experience working with Microservices Architecture.
• Hands-on experience with Core Java features including multi-threading and collections.
• Experience with Apache Kafka event-driven systems and stream processing.
• CI/CD pipelines, code quality tools (Sonar) and test automation.
• Source control using Git; Jira for task tracking and backlogs.
