Job summary

Hastings Direct is seeking a Senior Microservices Engineer to design, develop and maintain scalable microservices within the CIO Technology Engineering team. You will mentor junior engineers, participate in code reviews, and help drive engineering standards across cross-functional scrum teams.

The role involves partnering with Principal Engineer and Group Architecture to deliver high-quality solutions aligned with business requirements, while contributing to strategic initiatives and KPI

Qualifications

• Extensive hands-on experience building Java-based microservices in production.
• Strong collaboration in Agile teams and stakeholder engagement.
• Experience guiding engineers, conducting code reviews and mentoring.
