Job summary

Clarify Consultancy Ltd is seeking a skilled Full Stack Java Engineer to support a modern, scalable software platform within a fast-paced engineering culture. You will contribute to architecture, produce production-grade code, and participate in design workshops, code reviews and agile ceremonies.

The role emphasizes strong Java/Spring experience, microservices, event-driven systems with Kafka, and frontend React knowledge, with hybrid working and two office days per week.

Qualifications

• Strong Java development experience in modern backend stacks.
• Experience with Spring, microservices, and event-driven systems.
• Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes and MongoDB for scalable platforms.
• Frontend basics with React and solid design pattern understanding.
• Experience with Domain-Driven Design and clean code practices.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to solution architecture with senior engineers and Head Architect.
• Draft high-level technical approaches and proposed solutions.
• Produce clear documentation for technical implementations.
• Participate in design sessions, workshops and peer reviews.
• Write production-grade, well-tested code and refactor legacy components.
• Apply best-practice development techniques and coding standards.
• Contribute to user story creation, estimation and testing.
• Engage in agile ceremonies: planning, stand-ups, reviews and retrospectives.
• Stay current with emerging technologies relevant to the platform.
• Collaborate with colleagues, sharing knowledge and building team capability.
