Job summary

SR2 REC LTD in the United Kingdom is seeking an experienced Lead Java Engineer to join a consultancy delivering a major digital project for the UK Government. You will take a hands-on leadership role within an Agile engineering team, helping to deliver robust, scalable services using Java.

This contract is outside IR35, fully remote, paying £550 per day. Start ASAP with an initial 6-month term and a focus on technical leadership while remaining hands-on.

Qualifications

• Strong commercial Java engineering experience.
• Experience operating at Lead / Technical Lead level.
• Previous UK Government experience is essential.
• Experience working within Agile, multidisciplinary delivery teams.
• Comfortable remaining hands-on while providing technical leadership.
