Qualifications

• Extensive commercial Java development experience in enterprise environments.
• Strong hands-on Spring Boot and microservices design and implementation.
• Experience with real-time streaming, distributed systems and low-latency designs.
• Knowledge of cloud-native deployments using Kubernetes, Docker and Terraform.
• Familiarity with Azure cloud services and security (OAuth, IAM) practices.
• CI/CD tooling and automated testing in complex back-end pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and optimise highly scalable distributed and event-driven systems.
• Build real-time streaming and data-processing solutions with Flink and Kafka.
• Develop enterprise Java applications using Spring Boot and microservices.
• Ensure fault-tolerance for high-throughput environments and implement CQRS/Event Sourcing.
• Develop and optimise REST APIs and backend services; deploy on Kubernetes/Azure.
• Improve performance, resilience, security, and availability of platforms.
