Job summary

RevTech in London is seeking a Java Developer to join a global consultancy project in the banking space, focused on distributed systems and real-time data processing.

The role requires three days onsite in Central London, a one-year initial contract with high likelihood of extension, and eligibility to work in the UK without visa sponsorship. You will work with Java 21, Spring Boot, Kafka, Kubernetes and CI/CD pipelines to deliver scalable, low-latency services.

Qualifications

• Strong experience with Java 21, Spring Boot, Flowable, JPA/iBatis, microservices, and building scalable, reliable systems.
• Hands-on experience with Kafka, Apache Flink, Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, and Azure, including high-volume, low-latency data processing.
• Knowledge of OAuth/Azure AD, CI/CD, automated testing, CQRS/Event Sourcing, and using GitHub Copilot/LLMs to support software development.

Our client are a global consultancy looking for a Java Developer focusing on distributed systems and real-time data to join one of their projects in the banking space.

Key Skills:

• Java & Distributed Systems – Strong experience with Java 21, Spring Boot, Flowable, JPA/iBatis, microservices, and building scalable, reliable systems.
• Real-Time Data & Cloud – Hands-on experience with Kafka, Apache Flink, Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, and Azure, including high-volume, low-latency data processing.
• Security & Software Delivery – Knowledge of OAuth/Azure AD, CI/CD, automated testing, CQRS/Event Sourcing, and using GitHub Copilot/LLMs to support software development.
• This position will be paying up to £500-600 per day (Inside IR35 via Umbrella)
• 3 days per week onsite in Central London office
• Initial contract is 1 year long with high likelihood for extension
• Must have the right to work in the UK without needing visa sponsorship
