This is a new and exclusive opportunity for a Senior Java Software Developer to join a banking client as they build out their front office software development team, specializing in front office strategic Sales and Trading Derivatives platforms.

Role Details

• Title: Head of Derivatives IT Development
• Technical Stack: Java (focus), Python, C#
• Salary: £85,000 - £110,000 base plus bonus and pension
• Location: London City and hybrid remote working

As the Head of Derivatives IT Development, you will manage a team of 6-8 Front Office developers, overseeing the delivery of global system architecture to support Front Office desks.

The ideal candidate is a hands-on Java/Python/C# specialist with experience managing development teams and working closely with Front Office stakeholders, particularly within Derivatives Banking structures.

Role Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the Front Office derivatives development team
• Ensure successful software delivery from inception to deployment
