Searchability is assisting a Glasgow-based financial services consultancy by hiring a Senior Java Developer. You’ll work with Java 8+, Spring/Spring Boot, SQL and REST in a hybrid setup, with two days per week onsite in Glasgow.

The role focuses on forming and onboarding project teams, ensuring clear vision, facilitating communication between groups, tracking progress, and delivering high-quality software through agile practices, TDD, and CI.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Java 8+ and Spring/Spring Boot.
• Strong SQL and REST API experience.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and Agile practices.

Responsibilities

• Form and onboard new project teams, ensuring alignment with client vision.
• Facilitate communication between external groups and the project team; track progress.
