Searchability is assisting a Glasgow-based financial services consultancy by hiring a Senior Java Developer. You’ll work with Java 8+, Spring/Spring Boot, SQL and REST in a hybrid setup, with two days per week onsite in Glasgow.

The role focuses on forming and onboarding project teams, ensuring clear vision, facilitating communication between groups, tracking progress, and delivering high-quality software through agile practices, TDD, and CI.

Qualifications

My client is a mid-size IT Consultancy going from strength to strength. They work with a diverse range of clients across Financial Services, Renewables, Healthcare. This role will require you to go through Security Clearance. Therefore, you must hold British Citizenship.

THE JAVA DEVELOPER ROLE:

You'll be joining a Financial Service client in Glasgow, 2 days per week onsite.

In this role, a developer will be responsible for forming and onboarding new project teams, integrating them into the client's organization, and ensuring a clear understanding of the project and product vision. You should be skilled at facilitating communication and information exchange between external groups and the project team, while also tracking project progress, offering timely feedback, and fostering a culture of agility and continuous learning.
