Luxoft in the United Kingdom seeks a senior Java software engineer to contribute to a greenfield platform for information gathering and processing across a bank. You will write well-tested Java code, develop tests, and document your work.

You will participate in a CI/CD workflow with Jenkins and Bash, review peers’ code, and evaluate new tools to improve software quality and delivery velocity.

Competenze

• At least 6 years in software development.
• At least 5+ years of Java experience.
• Deep knowledge of SQL (Oracle or PostgreSQL dialects).
• Essential livecoding ability to read, fix, and explain code.

Mansioni

• Write good and well-tested Java code.
• Write Test Cases and User/Supporter Documentation of your code.
• Development environment support (automation using Jenkins CI, Bash).
• Evaluate and adopt new development tools, libraries and approaches to improve quality.
• Perform peer code review of project codebase changes.
